There is only one public bus route into Goolwa. Three buses, operated by LinkSA, depart the Adelaide Central Bus Station on Tuesdays. If you choose this method of travelling to Goolwa, it will be at your expense and your responsibility for booking.

Goolwa is located on the southern coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula.
The distance is 80 kilometres. Allow 1 and a half hours to self-drive
Leave the Airport, following Sir Richard Williams Ave through roundabouts to the lights at Sir Donald Bradman Drive/A6 - 1.0 km
Turn right onto Sir Donald Bradman Drive - 1.0 km
Turn right onto Marion Road/A14 - 10.2 km
Use the right 2 lanes to turn right to merge onto M2 - 6.4 km
Keep right to stay on M2 - 11.5 km
Use the right 3 lanes to turn right onto Main South Road/A13 - 2.2 km
Use the left 2 lanes to turn slightly left onto Victor Harbor Road/A13 - 28.1 km
Continue on this road, through the township of Mount Compass
Turn left on the Goolwa Road - 16.2 km
At the T-junction turn right and follow this road into the township of Goolwa - 4.6 km
The Cittaslow Office and Registration point is in the main street of Goolwa. Look for the Cittaslow signs.
