Location: Jaralde Park, Goolwa Wharf Precinct

The Cittaslow Goolwa Market will be held on the second and fourth Sundays from 9 am to 1 pm, Jaralde Park, Goolwa Wharf Precinct unless circumstances change.

The market will be held in keeping with Council policies regarding the coronavirus.

There will be produce for sale but no hot snacks and meals and no entertainment or seating facilities • strict social distancing will be observed with signage indicating requirements for people to queue 1.5 m apart and stalls will be set well apart to facilitate this • hand sanitiser stations will be available adjacent to stalls.

Depending on the success of this market, others may be held. If that occurs, following is a list of features of previous markets which would be considered for attendance at future markets.

Bread from Willunga made by Andy Clappis and from Currency Creek. Olive Oil from Finniss and Goolwa North and Brew Box Coffee from locally roasted beans plus Second Valley and Lilyarra Goats Cheeses. There are biscuits, cakes, condiments, locally grown veg from Tooperang and an amazing array of cakes and baked goods. There is always plenty to eat for brekkie or brunch at the Farmers Market – delicious locally made pies and pasties, specialities being the fish pasty and the bacon and egg pies plus tasty Haloumi or Coorong Mullet burgers and much much more. Mark has the best succulents, veggie and herb seedlings and Jill has some fabulous hand made gift items.

In addition, local musicians regularly appear at the market to add to the fun of a relaxing stroll to investigate the marvellous local goods that are available.
